Can you teach an “old dog” new tricks about diabetes?

activity aging change diabetes managment Aug 23, 2022

No matter when you start, you can make changes in your life that will support your health and especially your diabetes. Remember, type 2 diabetes is a lifestyle disease. If you make changes in what you eat, your sleep, your activity and more, these changes will affect your diabetes positively.

It all comes down to what you believe about yourself and what you are capable of. It was Henry Ford who said,” If you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right!” We have this great brain in our head. It can be an amazing friend and coach or a harsh, dangerous punisher. It comes down to your self-talk. Is it a friend that moves you forward or an enemy that holds you back? You have the power in your hands to change your health and your diabetes.

What will your next step be? Make a change or keep going the way you have been?
